First Lady Michelle Obama to speak at Miami

First Lady Michelle Obama, wife of President Barack Obama, will speak at Miami University as part of a campaign visit on Saturday, Nov. 3.

The public event will take place in the Withrow Court gymnasium, just north of High St. on Tallawanda Rd. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Audience members can enter through the front doors on Tallawanda Rd.

Tickets will be available to university students, faculty and staff, one per person, at Goggin Ice Arena from 7:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, and from noon to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.

Parking will be available in the north campus garage or the Millett Hall lot.

The event is sponsored by Obama for America and Miami’s College Democrats student group and is not sponsored by Miami University.
