Miami University faculty and staff are invited to a series of Lunch n' Learns to learn more about United Way and its supported programs. Sessions will be held Oct. 11 and Oct 23.

Chris Schultz will discuss PARACHUTE: Butler County CASA’s two primary goals - to keep children safe from harm and the many ways available to help abused children - at this one-hour session. CASA volunteers provide a voice for abused, neglected and abandoned children, ages birth to 18 years.

The mission of BBBS is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better. Carolyn Winslow and Jessica Greene will lead a session on how this actually happens and how United Way is provides mentoring services.
