Asian and Asian American Film Festival begins Tuesday

Miami University's Asian and Asian American Film Festival will kick off Tuesday, Oct. 2, with Sri Lankan film "Machan." Throughout the week, five films will be shown in the Shriver Center and MacMillan Hall.

Each film will be shown during the afternoon, followed by a roundtable discussion. A schedule of the week’s events can be found below in a PDF file. All events are free and open to the public.

The film festival is made possible with the support of the following departments and programs: Asian and Asian American Studies, Center for American and World Cultures, department of comparative religion, department of English, department of psychology, international studies, the Humanities Center, and women’s, gender & sexuality studies.
