Hannaford Ensemble, chamber music recital Sept. 30

The Hannaford Ensemble will perform works by Haydn and Beethoven at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, in Souers Recital Hall, Center for Performing Arts. The chamber music group was formed in the summer of 2012 by seven members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

The Ensemble takes its name from Cincinnati-based architect Samuel Hannaford (1835-1911), who designed many of the city's well-known landmarks, including Music Hall, the home of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

The recital is free and open to the public.
