Arianne Wilt appointed new student trustee

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed Arianne Wilt as a student trustee on the Miami University board of trustees. She is a junior political science major and business legal studies minor from Springfield.

Wilt is involved in various campus activities including Panhellic Association, Adopt-A-School, Richard Hall general assembly and Phi Mu sorority. She also serves on the Miami Plan Redesign Task Force.

Wilt is a student blogger for the office of admission and works as a resident assistant.

Her term runs from May 24, 2012, to February 2014. The student trustee is a non-voting board member. Wilt replaces Matthew Shroder, who graduated this month.
