Robert Shroder
Ohio Governor John Kasich has named Robert (Bob) Shroder as a new voting member of Miami University's board of trustees.

Since 2002, Shroder has served as the president and chief executive officer of Humility of Mary Health Partners (HMHP), a region of Catholic Health Partners in Cincinnati. HMHP was named the 2009 Outstanding Employer of the Year by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Shroder has served on numerous boards, including those of the Barberton Chamber of Commerce and United Way, the Mental Health Associates of Summit County, and the Warren Chamber Orchestra. He has served as president of the Kent State University Trumbull Campus Advisory Board, chairperson of the Mahoning Valley United Way Campaign, and co-chairperson of the American Cancer Society’s Heart Walk. He also served on the Ohio Hospital Association Board and is currently the Ohio delegate to the American Hospital Association.

Shroder received his bachelor’s degree in public administration from Miami in 1978. He received his master’s degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University and became a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Shroder's son, Matthew Shroder, recently finished a term as a student trustee for Miami.
