Spring auction of surplus property to be held May 26

Miami's spring auction of surplus property will start 9 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Millett Hall. This is an opportunity for departments to seek out and identify materials and equipment that are no longer needed and to clean out storage areas.

Items need not be in working order, but should be clearly marked as "not working" with a short description of the problem.

Surplus items should be reported to Clarence Blevins of physical facilities by memo no later than May 9. In the memo, list the items, their location, and who should be contacted to arrange pick up. It is important that lists be received by May 9 so that major items can be listed in the bill of sale.
