President Hodge opens national convention

Miami University President David Hodge gave the keynote address April 19, opening the American Association of Colleges and Universities' (AAC&U) annual conference on Academic Renewal.

Hodge presented the paper, "From Convocation to Capstone: Developing the Student as Scholar," at the conference held in Long Beach, California.

Assisting him on producing the paper were two Miami students: Kira Pasquesi, a graduate student in the college student personnel program, and Marissa Hirsh, a senior in early childhood education. Paul LePore of the University of Washington faculty is also a co-author.
