Miami community to produce 100,000 life-saving meals

Through a partnership among Miami freshman, Jordan Habel, his leadership team of 12 and the Twin Cities-based Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), hundreds of volunteers will prepare 100,000 life-saving meals at an FMSC MobilePackTM event, Sunday, April 15, at Millett Hall.

FMSC is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding starving children. The meals are just 22 cents to produce and they’re shipped to nearly 70 developing countries. The MobilePack event unites volunteers who work as a team to produce the meals.

Community members can support this MobilePack by making a donation or by volunteering to package food at the event. Donations may be given at any time, and volunteer registration is now available.
