Howe Center hosts two presentations for faculty

The Howe Center for Writing Excellence is hosting two presentations - one on teaching international students and the other on using writing in large classes - Tuesday, April 3.

Chris Thaiss, Clark Kerr Professor at the University of California-Davis, will present "Teaching International Students Effectively: Strategies for All Faculty" noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 320 King Library.

Thaiss, along with Ron Becker, department of communication at Miami, will present "Incorporating Writing into Courses with Large Enrollments" at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 184 Marcum Center.
