Photos entered in online database

The office of university communications and marketing is developing a large online database of photos and documents. This will both help the department better manage the large amount of images handled by the division and enable easier access to the images by the community, with varied levels of access.

While it is not widely available, this office and other communicators on campus are beginning to upload photos, keywords and metadata to help make the photos and other files easy to search and find.

University communications and marketing (UCM) has collected scores of studio “head-and-shoulder shots” of faculty and administrators over the years, generally for news items or promotion and tenure publications, and we would like to make these available on the online database for easier access by reporters. If you would prefer your photo not be available on this database for off-campus use, please tell UCM staff via email at newsinfo@muohio.edu by March 31.
