Break free from smoking with cessation classes

Four new Freedom from Smoking classes begin March 12; two in Oxford, including an evening class, and one on each regional campus. Classes are open to all Miami employees and cover spouses/domestic partners at no cost.

This 7-week program takes participants through steps to quit and stay smoke free by developing skills for good stress management, weight control, assertive communication, and exercise.

This class serves as the alternative to the Healthy Miami Tobacco Free Certification. Complete a Freedom from Smoking class with EHWB before May 15, 2012, and receive the $15 per month premium reduction July through December 2012.
