Telecommunications offers shared cell plans

Faculty, staff or students can now take advantage of family or shared plans as part of a whole new line-up of service and data plans available from the office of telecommunications.

Offered in partnership with Cincinnati Bell Wireless (CBW), these new plans start at $25/month with additional users for just $10 per month each. Plans are available with 250 to 2500 monthly minutes, and all Miami cell phone plans include: free nights & weekends, long distance, roaming and unlimited CBW mobile-to CBW mobile while in the local area.

On-campus support, no service contract and convenient billing via a university bursar account are available. Text message or data packages can be added to the shared plans as well. The program also features a wide range of phone choices from inexpensive, basic phones to high-end smartphones.
