Learning Technologies Summer Institute applications available

The Learning Technologies Summer Institute (LTSI), now in its 14th year, assists faculty to integrate technology into the curriculum. The LTSI is scheduled for May 7-10, 2012. Continuing tenured, tenure-track, visiting, part-time Miami faculty and graduate teaching assistants can submit an application online by Monday, March 12.

The LTSI is a workshop designed to examine the pedagogical case for inclusion of technology in the classroom, as well as a survey of both standard and cutting-edge technologies for improving instruction. There will be hands-on training with one-on-one support for individual technology needs.

This workshop is appropriate for novices as well as those experienced with technology. Participants who complete the workshop will receive a $525 grant to support continued development of their course materials. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Monday, March 12.
