Annual Wine Tasting Gala benefits Performing Arts Series

The Miami University Performing Arts Series will host its 22nd annual Wine Tasting Gala and Auction to benefit arts education efforts, 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Millett Hall. Tickets, $59 per person, will be available at the door.

Proceeds from the wine tasting are used to fund outreach activities such as workshops, master classes, coffee houses and discussions with the visiting professional artists appearing on the Series. These events are provided for regional students and area community members at no cost to the participants.

During the 2010-2011 season, more than 3,000 students and community members from Miami University, Oxford, Hamilton, Middletown and Cincinnati participated in these free events.

Tickets for the event are also available Friday, Jan. 20, at the Miami University box office.
