Sponsored by the office for the advancement of research and scholarship (OARS), URA provides support for student research and creative projects. It also provides students experience in developing grant applications.
Typical awards range from $150 to $500, but individual or group projects of exceptional merit or projects involving interdisciplinary student teams may be funded up to $1,000.
Students may apply in the fall for spring semester projects, or in the spring for fall semester projects. Applications for fall semester projects are due March 2.
