Banner, BannerWeb and other services (view complete list) will be unavailable from 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, until late on Sunday, Dec. 4. During this time, IT services will upgrade Banner and Banner hardware.
The upgrade will keep Miami's Banner system in compliance with regulatory changes, keep Miami on a supported version of this important software product and refresh aging hardware.
At the same time, IT services will also be upgrading Hyperion for Oracle 11g, which means upgrades to MInE, Brio Report Builder and SQR.
This outage will not impact the availability of myMiami, however Banner data normally displayed in myMiami will not be available.
