Microbiology student receives presentation award

Elizabeth French, a doctoral student in microbiology, received the Donald C. Cox Award for Best Podium Presentation at the Ohio Branch of the American Society for Microbiology annual meeting, April 9, at Ohio University.

Her oral presentation was “Differences in growth behavior of ammonia-oxidizing archaea and ammonia-oxidizing bacteria.” She is advised by Annette Bollmann, assistant professor of microbiology.
