Zoology doctoral student receives award for poster

Kentaro Inoue, a doctoral student in zoology, received honorable mention in the competition for Best Student Poster at the biennial meeting of the Freshwater Mollusk Conservation Society held the week of April 11 in Louisville, Ky.

His poster presentation was “Phylogenetic and morphometric analyses reveal phenotypic plasticity in freshwater mussels: synonomy of Villosa arkansasensis and Obovaria jacksonia. Inoue is advised by David Berg, professor of zoology.
