Jazz ensemble with Brent Gallaher April 9

The Miami University Jazz Ensemble, directed by Jeremy Long, will perform at 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, in Hall Auditorium.

The concert will feature guest artist Brent Gallaher on saxophone. Gallaher is a freelance artist from Cincinnati who regularly performs with groups including the Art Gore Quartet, Blue Wisp Big Band, The Jazz Circle, Vintage Keys Project and Steve Schmidt Trio. He can be heard on CDs including Over the Rhine's "Drunkard's Prayer" and "Joshua," the 2006 debut release by The Jazz Circle.
