Mieko is a native of Japan who's studied both the language and culture extensively. She's also written several articles and essays on the subject. Mieko also spent her early adult years in Tokyo- working as a high school language teacher.
Brian Currie

Brian recently did an interview with a regional television station about the dangers of nuclear power plants. Just last week he told me that no matter what- an engineered society will also always be subject to the dramatic physics of natural events.
Yildirim Dilek
Distinguished Professor of Geology and Asian & Asian-American Studies
Yildirim has extensive experience in speaking on earthquakes and tsunamis. Just three years ago, he participated in an oceanographic cruise to the Japan Trench where he took footage of the active fault zones. He also has friends in Sendai with whom he has contacted since the disaster.
