Miami's Marching Band celebrates 75th anniversary

The Miami University Marching Band, directed by Stephen Lytle, will perform a special 75th anniversary concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Talawanda Middle School Gymnasium.

Featured on the program will be traditional favorites of the Marching Band repertoire as well as selections from half-time performances from the Miami football games.

The Marching Band, which performed at the 2003 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, is invited to perform again in the 2011 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
