H1N1 flu vaccine available for students

Miami's Oxford campus still has doses of H1N1 injectable vaccine. Student health services will offer the vaccine in Wednesday flu clinics 3 p.m.-5 p.m. during January at the Student Health Center.

Students from all campuses who meet the criteria (under age 24, with a chronic health condition) are encouraged to be vaccinated. Shots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

For students unable to make the clinics, the student health service will have limited appointments available. Please call 529-3000 to make an appointment.

The charge for the vaccine is $10 and will be added to the student’s bursar bill. Students wishing to be vaccinated must bring their student ID and driver’s license (or state ID card) to the clinic.
