Women's studies program hosts symposium

Miami University's women's studies program will host a symposium to continue the bicentennial celebration. The event, "Theory into Action Across Generations," will be held Nov 20 - 21 in 212 MacMillan Hall.

The conference sponsored by the Humanities Center, the Mina Burckhardt Endowed Capstone in Women’s Studies, and the women’s studies program will focus on past and future efforts to transform the focus of knowledge to political, social, civic and/or cultural actions. Former and current women’s studies faculty members and students will present a series of panels, performances, exhibits and discussions.
