Office of new student programs receives award

Miami University’s office of new student programs has received first place for its first-year e-newsletter series in the Outstanding Multimedia/Emerging Technologies category presented by the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA).

Miami competed against submissions from other colleges and universities that have 15,000 or more students enrolled.

Each e-newsletter in the weekly series provided first year students this summer with resources and videos containing information on organizations and opportunities around campus. This development has helped facilitate students’ transition to Miami.

The e-newsletters are posted on the new student programs Web site.
