Arrest made in Monday a.m. assault re: Crime Alert #3

Thursday, Aug. 24, Oxford police detectives announced they arrested Daniel M. Kohr, a 22-year-old Miami University student, for the assault of another Miami student Aug. 21 in uptown Oxford. Police identified the victim as Andrew Isler. Police say Isler is still hospitalized as a result of injuries sustained during the assault.

The assault was the subject of the Miami police department's Crime Alert #3.

Kohr is charged with one count of felonious assault, a felony of the 2nd degree, and one count of assault, a misdemeanor of the 1st degree.

Kohr is scheduled to appear in Butler County Area I Court at a later date, according to Oxford police.
