The 29th annual International Lilly Conference on College Teaching will be held at Miami University Nov. 19-22. Hundreds of educators will attend presentations and workshops on the scholarship of learning and teaching.
The conference, “Evidence-Based Learning and Teaching,” features keynote speaker Michael Wesch, 2008 CASE Professor of the Year.

Wesch, assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University, explores the effects of new media on society and culture. He was recently named an “Emerging Explorer” by National Geographic Magazine and is the 2008 CASE/Carnegie U.S. Professor of the Year for Doctoral and Research Universities.
The Lilly Conference was founded and is directed by Milt Cox, associate director of the Center for the Enhancement of Learning, Teaching and University Assessment (CELTUA) at Miami.
