Miami's libraries celebrate 100 years as Federal Depository

Miami University Libraries mark a centennial this year as an official Federal Depository Library, receiving government publications since the 1850s. A celebration event will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in 320 King Library and is open to the public.

The celebration will include the presentation of a plaque from the United States Government Printing Office commemorating this milestone.

Visit the range of special government materials already on display in the Walter Havighurst Special Collections.
