Crime Alert: Havighurst Hall burglaries

Two students reported that laptops were allegedly stolen from their rooms in Havighurst Hall Wednesday, Nov. 11.

A first-floor student reported a laptop was taken from her room while the door was open. A third floor resident reported that her laptop and charging cable were taken from her room while the door was closed but not locked. Both incidents occurred between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Neither student was injured.

Miami University police are investigating. If you have any information, please call police at 529-2222.

Students are reminded to keep their room doors locked any time the room is empty or when they are sleeping. Call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity.
