Miami hosts area Chinese Singing Competition finals

The final round of the Greater Cincinnati Area Chinese Singing Competition, organized by The Confucius Institute at Miami University, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in Kumler Chapel on Western campus.

About 80 candidates from Miami University, Mason High School, Talawanda Middle and High School and the Academy of World Languages will compete in the final round. The competition provides a platform for area students to share Chinese learning experiences, as well as introduces additional approaches to learning the Chinese language.
