Irvin Lecture: "Pierre Corneille and the Becoming-Place of Theater"

Jeffrey Peters, associate professor of French studies at the University of Kentucky, will present "Pierre Corneille and the Becoming-Place of Theater" at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in 415 McGuffey Hall. His talk is part of the Irvin lecture series of the department of French and Italian.

Peters is the author of Mapping Discord: Allegorical Cartography in Early Modern French Writing and is currently working on a book exploring the relationship between philosophies of space and theories of writing in the seventeenth century.
