Wilson Lecture in botany: "The Wildfuels Alternative"

Michael Palmer, the Regents professor of Botany at Oklahoma State University, will present “The Wildfuels Alternative” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in Room 125 of the psychology building. His talk is the Roger Wilson Lecture in Botany.

Palmer’s research areas include community ecology, ecological theory and conservation of biodiversity. He maintains a blog, http://cas.okstate.edu/debo/blogs, “The Wildfuels Alternative,” devoted to the promotion, development and understanding of wildfuels and low-input, high-diversity systems for biofuels.

Palmer’s lecture, discussing the ecology of biofuels in America’s rangelands, is open to the public.
