Information bulletin: Off-campus rape

Miami’s Institutional Response Team alerts the community to an alleged rape in an Oxford home Sunday morning.

A female student reported to Oxford police that she was raped in a house in the vicinity of N. College Ave. and W. Vine St. between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2009 by two males she did not know. One male was described only as white; there is no description of the other male. The Oxford police are investigating.

Police remind everyone not to walk alone at night and remain aware of your surroundings.
