Story about Miami facing an $8 million budget deficit for this year and what trustees decided about tuition says the board approved an in-state tuition freeze for the coming academic year and a 3.5 percent increase in out-of-state tuition. Also says as part of the cost cutting, university employees won't receive a pay raise next year, and President Hodge and vice presidents will forfeit 10 days of salary.
