Celebrate Diversity Week with the Global Fusion Board
The Campus Activities Council's Global Fusion Board invites the Miami Community to events this week in celebration of diversity. The week begins Monday, March 30, with a Stop the Hate Rally and culminates with Red Nose Day, a charity event to be held Friday, April 3
Red Nose Day was first introduced to the Miami University Oxford campus on April 18, 2008 at the Ernst Nature Amphitheater on Western Campus as a fundraiser to raise money and awareness for fighting hunger in the community and in support of the Oxford Community Choice Food Pantry.
The event in its entirety was presented by the Clawson Community Council. This year put on by Red Nose Day Organization, DAC, and CAC, in conjunction with AIESEC and with support from the Parents Fund, Red Nose Day 2009 is expanding to provide monetary and food donations to the Family Resource Center as well as the Oxford Community Choice Pantry.
Admission is open to all. Red Noses will be distributed as tickets for a minimum $2 donation at the following locations. Non-perishable food donations also will be collected at all locations.
