Aimin Wang

Aimin Wang has been promoted to professor of educational psychology. Wang received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Peking University in Beijing, China, and a doctoral degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He served as director of graduate studies in the department and coordinator of the educational psychology program. He has also served on many university and divisional committees including University Senate, multicultural council and graduate council. Wang teaches a variety of courses including research methodology, statistics and measurement and evaluation. His research interests are on program evaluation, children’s socialization, cross-cultural studies and psychological intervention.

Wang is a lifetime member of the Association for Psychological Science (APS) and the Mid-Western Educational Research Association (MWERA) and is a member of the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) and the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI). He has served as MWERA divisional chair, association council member and secretary. Wang also is an executive board member of the Confucius Institute and the Center for Human Development, Learning, and Technology at Miami.
