The second seeks to understand how and why feelings of positivity can trigger feelings of familiarity. To date, she has published 16 articles and has authored or co-authored more than 50 conference and colloquia presentations. Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation since 2007, when she received a three-year award totaling just under $300,000.
Claypool is an elected member of the Society of Experimental Social Psychology and serves on the editorial board of the European Journal of Social Psychology. She has engaged in numerous service activities, including serving as chair of the psychology departmental review board.
