Devon DelVecchio has been granted tenure and promoted to associate professor of marketing. DelVecchio joined the faculty at Miami in 2005 after serving in the same capacity at the University of Kentucky. Devon earned his doctorate from Indiana University, an MBA from the University of South Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University.
DelVecchio’s research focuses on pricing, promotions and brand management. His work has appeared in journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing and Psychology & Marketing. At the undergraduate level, Devon teaches a course on brand management and the marketing strategy practicum. He also teaches the introductory marketing course to MBA students.
