Crime alert: Burglary in Symmes Hall

Two male students reported that sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, while they were away from their room, unknown subject(s) entered their unlocked residence in Symmes Hall and stole two laptop computers. The incident was reported to the Miami University police, who are investigating.

No suspect description is available.

Students are reminded to keep their room doors locked any time the room is empty or when they are sleeping.

Call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity. Anyone with information is asked to call university police at 529-2222.
