Miami libraries to host Read-In

Miami University libraries will host the 18th annual African-American Read-In 1-4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, on the third floor of King Library.

Honored guest will be Valerie Hodge.

Participants are invited to read a short passage (three to four minutes) from a book by an African-American author and listen to others read. The library has a display of books to choose from or participants may bring their own. Class participation also is encouraged.

The event also is sponsored by the library's diversity cluster.
