13th annual Undergraduate Research Forum April 18

Students from all disciplines will present the results of their research in oral or poster presentations at the 13th annual Undergraduate Research Forum Wednesday, April 18, at Shriver Center. At the forum luncheon for participants and their mentors, President David Hodge and two outstanding student researchers will speak on the value and effects of undergraduate research experiences.

Beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, 54 students will present oral summaries of their work. More than 200 students will participate in the interactive poster session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Shriver Center multipurpose room.

The forum is open to the public, and faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend. Members of Miami’s University Research Advisory Council (MURAC), which promotes research activity in partnership with business and industry, will attend.
