  If you have a personal Google account that is using your uniqueid@muohio.edu address as the account name, an account conflict will be created when Miami adds the @muohio.edu domain alias to our Google Apps domain. A conflicting account overview is documented on Google's support site. This is scheduled to happen 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

  An opportunity for those interested in fashion design is offered this summer through a new workshop in Miami's CraftSummer program. British milliner Dagmara Childs, lecturer in the faculty of art, architecture and design at the University of Lincoln, U.K., will teach "The Art of the Hat" July 8-12. Childs' visit is part of a new partnership recently established between Miami's School of Creative Arts and the University of Lincoln in Lincoln, U.K.

  Testing of the Oxford campus electric utility system will be conducted 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. Tuesday, May 14. In order to minimize disruption to normal campus activity, the tests are planned in conjunction with the scheduled annual steam shutdown Week (May 12-18).

  Miami University's Dean of regional campuses Michael Pratt announced today a pilot program that will bring a cohort of international students from China to the recently established English Language Center (ELC) at the Middletown Campus. The pilot program is planned to begin in the fall 2013 semester.

  Miami was named a Gold Fit-Friendly work site by the American Heart Association for the second year in a row.
