Environmental Sciences
The Institute of Environmental Sciences offers the M.En. degree, a degree that prepares students for work in public service, government, education, profit and nonprofit environmental organizations, and industry. This interdisciplinary program complements strengths from the departmental disciplines at Miami University.

Degree offered: Master of Environmental Science

Application deadline for fall 2010: Review of applications and acceptances will begin January 20 and continue until the class is filled.

Test required: N/A

Other admission requirements: The Institute of Environmental Sciences requires the following information from applicants: transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and a current resume of education and experience.

Program requirements: 41 semester hours. Besides course work, IES students also take a comprehensive examination and complete a thesis, practicum, or internship.
