Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science and Systems Analysis offers a research-oriented master's degree program to students who hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field. The department also offers a non-degree certificate program in software design and development. The certificate program is for students who hold a bachelor's degree and wish to obtain foundational computing knowledge and skills.

Degree/certificate offered: Master of Computer Science, Certificate in Software Design and Development

Application deadline for fall 2009: February 1, 2009

Financial aid deadline for fall 2009: February 1, 2009

Test required: Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

Other admission requirements: Acceptance into the master's program is determined by evaluation of transcripts, three letters of recommendation, Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, and a statement of purpose. Students interested in the certificate program should submit transcripts and three letters of recommendation.

Program requirements:
Master's program:
33 semester hours. In addition to course work, each student must complete thesis research and research seminars.
Certificate program: 20 semester hours.
