Requirements
Applicants for graduate study must have earned a baccalaureate (bachelor's) degree from an accredited institution, having earned a minimum grade point average of 2.75 or a 3.0 average for the last four semesters of study for the bachelor's degree.
If you are enrolled in a degree program at another graduate school and intend to return to that institution, you must request the Application for Transient Status from the Graduate School (513-529-3734).

To apply for a graduate degree program or continuing non-degree status at Miami University, submit the following:

This record of previous academic work should be sent directly to the Graduate School.

You may be required to take the Graduate Record Examination, the Miller Analogies Test, or the Graduate Management Admission Test. Check with your program.

Application for Graduate Award
If you are interested in applying for a graduate award in the form of an assistantship, indicate you would like to be considered for a graduate award when completing the application. You should also check the website of the department you are applying to for additional procedures. If you have any questions, contact the Graduate School.
