Domestic Application

Requirements
Applicants for graduate study must have earned a baccalaureate (bachelor's) degree from an accredited institution, having earned a minimum grade point average of 2.75 or a 3.0 average for the last four semesters (last 6 quarters) of study for the bachelor's degree.
If you are enrolled in a degree program at another graduate school and intend to return to that institution, you must request the Application for Transient Status from the Graduate School:

To apply for a graduate degree program or continuing non-degree status at Miami University, submit the following:

*The following programs are not accepting applications at this time:
Art Education, History Ph.D. program, Instructional Design and Technology, Mass and Speech Communication, Political Science Ph.D. program, Spanish, Technical and Scientific Communication, Family and Child Studies, Economics, and full-time MBA 

Application Fee* (non-refundable)
Required if applying for a degree program, $50
Required if applying for continuing non-degree status, $20
* If Applicants qualify they may request the fee waiver option on the online application.

Official Academic Transcripts*
This record of previous academic work should be sent directly to the Graduate School.
Degree Program status, two official transcripts from BA school and all schools after. 
Continuing Non-degree status, one copy of your official transcript, showing highest degree earned
*Miami graduates are not required to submit a Miami official transcript

Test scores (if applicable)*
You may be required to take the Graduate Record Examination, the Miller Analogies Test, or the Graduate Management Admission Test. Check with your program.
*Test scores are not required for Continuing Non-degree status.

Application for Graduate Award
If you are interested in applying for a graduate award in the form of an assistantship, indicate you  would like to be considered for a graduate award when completing the application. You should also check the website of the department you are applying to for additional procedures. If you have any questions, contact the Graduate School.
