Miami University annually makes available several reports and statistics to keep the university community and prospective students and employees informed. Some of these items are required by federal law; all provide abundant information designed to help you make wise choices.

Campus Safety and Crime Statistics

Miami’s response to the Campus Security Act provides crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years along with Miami’s annual report of campus safety and security policies, information on hate crimes and sexual assault, Miami’s drug and alcohol policies and education programs, and a resource list.

Report on Teacher Quality Preparation

Miami reports on passage rates and other information about teacher education programs in compliance with the Higher Education Act (also known as Title II). This annual report under that federal mandate includes numbers reported to The Ohio Department of Education, which coordinates a statewide reporting effort.
