Admission Requirements

Admission requirements include three faculty letters of recommendation, a letter stating your personal and professional objectives and pertinent academic experiences, and submission of your GRE scores.

Program Requirements
(30 semester hours)

Six semester hours of thesis credit are included in this program. You must pass a qualifying examination, written and oral, on specified books of major significance in the study of religion; write a thesis; and pass a final examination. Reading ability in a languageappropriate to the area of study is encouraged.
