Graduation Rates

The Education Trust and The New York Times identify Miami as a model college for our outstanding graduation rate, crediting our success, in part, to "tracking student progress and giving students more access to professors."

Not only are Miami's graduation rates among the highest nationally, our students graduate in good time. Our average length of time to earn a degree is 3.7 years, the shortest time among Ohio public universities.

Miami graduation rates for all undergraduate students include the following:

  • 67% graduate within four years*
  • 78% graduate within five years
  • 80% graduate within six years
* Miami's data reflects the current year; Kiplinger's data (shown below) reflects the previous year.
