- $50 Application Fee (nonrefundable)
The application fee may be submitted online at www.commonapp.org with a credit card or electronic funds transfer from a bank account, or through the mail with a check or money order made payable to Miami University. In order to submit the application fee online, applicants must first submit the Common Application or Miami's Supplement to the Common Application online. For students who qualify, an official fee waiver form may be submitted in lieu of the application fee. Students requesting a fee waiver must submit a waiver form from the College Board, the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), or a letter from your current institution or representative of a social service/community agency stating that the fee would cause financial hardship.
- College Instructor Evaluation
Download PDF (116 KB)
Complete the applicant portion of the College Instructor Evaluation (also available at www.commonapp.org) and give the form to an instructor who has taught you a full-credit college class. The instructor must complete and mail this form to Miami or submit it online through the Common Application website. The College Instructor Evaluation contains space for the instructor to write a letter of recommendation.
- Official High School Transcript
This is not required for applicants who graduated from high school before 1986. Transcripts must be submitted by the high school. Miami encourages high schools to submit documents electronically, and we currently accept electronic transcripts via Common Application online, eSCRIP-SAFE, Docufide, and C!Doc (ConnectEdu).
* Faxed transcripts are not accepted.
- ACT/SAT Scores
These scores may be included on your official high school transcript or sent directly from the testing center. You can request submission of these scores to Miami by contacting ACT or the College Board (SAT). Miami's ACT code is 3294 and the SAT code is 1463. If you have been out of high school for more than five years or have already completed 20 or more transfer credits, test scores are not required.
- Official Institutional Academic Transcript
A transcript must be sent directly from each college/university you have attended since high school.
